At GMBYStone, managing and minimizing our impact on the environment in both our product offerings and our daily operations is an important part of our business. In a nutshell, we want our product to have a big impact on our customers, not our environment.

Our product is primarily mined in the Beautiful Southern China, meaning we have lower transportation requirements than other quartz surfacing products produced outside the China. During processing, 100 percent of the water used in GMBYStone's plant and fabrication facilities is recycled through a series of advanced settling and filtering techniques. All diamond-metal tooling is retooled and re-used. Scrap material is collected and used as road base material on local construction projects.

Environmental best practices are promoted through training programs at GMBYStone Laboratary. For example, GMBYStone Approved Fabrication and Installation Associates are educated in water recovery and equipment recycling practices.
